A traditional recipe made healthier with Lake Salt LIGHT!
LEMON AND HERBS ROAST CHICKEN (4 servings)
Ingredients
• 4 chicken drumsticks
• 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
• 1 tbsp chopped Italian herbs
• 1/2 tbsp chopped parsley leaves
• 1⁄2 tbsp olive oil
• 1⁄4 cup of black pepper
• 1 1⁄4 tsp Fine Foods Lake Salt LIGHT (low-sodium salt)
Directions
1. Mix fresh lemon juice, chopped Italian herbs, chopped parsley leaves, olive oil, black pepper and Lake Salt LIGHT together. Marinate the chicken drumsticks with the mix. (Tip: For more flavour, marinate the chicken and refrigerate overnight.)
2. Preheat the oven to 200OC. Place the marinated chicken drumsticks over the pan and pour the remaining marinade
on top.
3. Roast the chicken drumsticks for about 30mins until they turn golden brown and cook through.
